I love that my friends and family are helping me out by beta-reading my novels. I will be eternally grateful. However, it is stressful to have beta readers who take longer than they said they would. Or who aren't honest when they don't have the time to read. It would make everyone's life easier if you just said you don't have the time to read it and let the author find another person.
