Lacking motivation ....

Why is it that every time I have a decline the motivation to write leaves me? Maybe it was all the times I procrastinated in life. It stuck with me into adulthood. Most days I can read an entire novel or write a couple of thousand words in my latest novel. However, today I struggled to read 50 pages that I was editing. This needs to be done by Monday and I still have 145 pages to go ... wish me luck.
